Women’s Sexuality

The disparity between the amount of shame experienced around sexuality, sexual agency, medical attention and research into the sexuality of each of the biologic sexes is remarkable.  Pharmacology, medicine and literature have largely ignored many of the issues of female sexuality.  This is evidenced by the fact that medical drawings and medical literature from only a few years ago do not include a complete depiction or understanding of female genitalia.

The health and emotional benefits of a satisfying sex life is not in question.  These resources are provided  to help diminish and eliminate disorders associated with the pathologizing of women’s sexuality and body shame.  These psychological and medical issues include, but are not limited to anorexia, bulimia, anxiety, depression, dyspareunia and anorgasmia.
